What happens when I come in for fabric selection?
We start with an appointment to look at fabrics. You can bring with you everything that will help us in our selection: tie backs from draperies, arm covers from other pieces, inspiration photos, photos of the room, the oriental, paint chips, tiles, throw pillows, phots of your art work, etc. The list is really endless! Whatever will help us.
You bring all your ideas. I bring all my ideas and experience.
We look through fabric books, we discuss options, what might work best, why a particular fabric may not work well. We try to alleviate the stress of the process. Of course, we want to find something great but this should be fun.
What is Reupholstery? What happens to my pieces at the Furniture Spa?
We strip off the fabric and padding from your furniture.
We reglue loose wooden frames, sometimes adding braces.
We reweb and redo any spring work that is needed. Coil springs get an 8 way hand tie.
We reuse as much of your old padding as is still good- to keep your costs down.
We replace everything that needs replacing in your padding.
Last but not least, we put on new fabric.
